SCHOOL HOOPS

The Wollongong Hawks School Hoops Program is targeted to every primary school in the region.
The program is about teaching basketball in a fun and safe environment with a game sense approach.
Since 2009, the Wollongong ahm Hawks have seen well over 10,000 children as part of this program in schools all across the region.
School Hoops is a 1 hour basketball skill session, coached by the Wollongong ahm Hawks players and coaching staff within the school. The Hawks bring their own basketballs for the kids to use and at the end of every session every student leaves with a smile on their face and an autograph from their favourite Hawks player!

HOLIDAY CLINICS

The Wollongong Hawks take basketball back to the community with the clinic to be held yearly at Shellharbour, Wollongong and Bulli.
1 day program for boys and girls aged 6-14years to experience the enjoyment of basketball, develop skills and keep active during the school holidays. Programs delivered by the Wollongong Hawks players and coaching staff.

ILLAWARRA BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION

The Wollongong Hawks support the Illawarra Basketball Association (IBA) to increase involvement in the sport of Basketball including more players,coaches,managersand referees and developing the skills of these groups within the association.The IBA promote team sport and participation especially to the youth of the Illawarra region.

ILLAWARRA 'DESIGN BATHWARE' HAWKS

The Waratah Championship League is the top tiered State League Competition in New South Wales. The 13 team competition features club's from Canberra, across Sydney, Central Coast and the Newcastle region.

The Wollongong Hawks are underpinning the Illawarra Basketball Waratah Championship League Program.
